Grew up in a small village in a country fraught with economic challenges and limited opportunities for women. Despite the hardships, I always harborer big dreams. From a young age, I was determined to carve out a future for myself that transcended the boundaries set by my environment.
At 15, I made the brave decision to leave my home in search of better opportunities. With little more than a suitcase of essentials and a heart full of hope, I set out for a foreign land, where I knew no one and didn’t speak the language. The journey was far from easy; I faced numerous obstacles that tested my resilience and determination.
Facing Challenges Head-On
In my new country, I confronted many difficulties. Finding a job was tough, especially without local experience or a strong network. I worked multiple low-paying jobs just to make ends meet, often feeling overwhelmed and isolated. There were days when I doubted my decision and wondered if I would ever achieve my dreams.
However, I tenacity never wavered. I dedicated myself to learning the language and understanding the culture of her new home. I took night classes and spent countless hours studying, knowing that education was the key to unlocking better opportunities. Despite the long hours and the physical and emotional toll, I persisted.
Our Unique Value
I never forgot my roots or the struggles I faced. I became passionate about helping other women who were in similar situations. I founded a community dedicated to supporting immigrant women, providing them with the resources and mentorship needed to succeed. My organisation offers career counselling, and networking opportunities, empowering women to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.
